I am designing a new web site and logo for a literary magazine called "Second Run". Basically it is an online magazine for creative writers to post pieces of work that have been "lost" or never published. Jim Coppoc, Iowa State faculty member in the Creative Writing Department, is the editor of the magazine.
When trying to figure out a design for the website, we wanted an eclectic theme. When Jim and I thought of a "Second Run" press we thought of an old forgotten circus, which led to the idea of using an old circus poster as design inspiration. I will post a link when the site goes live.
